We are currently recruiting for a Community Grants Associate - Position Description [PDF]
Reporting to the Director of Community Grants, the Community Grants Associate will be responsible for reviewing and assessing grant applications for consideration by The Foundation’s Grants Committee and Board of Directors, as well as assessing the impact of The Foundation’s grant-making. Extensive consultation and liaison with a wide range of community-based organizations and other funders is also required.
This position requires a university degree (Master’s preferred), as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience working with the charitable sector. The successful applicant will have in-depth knowledge of Winnipeg’s charitable sector and a broad understanding of current and emerging community issues. The position requires demonstrated analytical skills, competence in presenting ideas and writing reports and the ability to work independently.
