RC360 Season 3, Episode 40

October 05, 2017 | River City 360

In this instalment of River City 360:

  • The Winnipeg Foundation’s Vital Signs 2017 launches today. This snapshot of Winnipeg is the culmination of a year-long process that included online and phone surveys, community conversations, and secondary research to check up on the vitality of our city.
  • Rick Frost, CEO of The Winnipeg Foundation, joins us to talk about what inspired Vital Signs, where it stands right now, and what it means for The Foundation in the future.
  • Andrew Chunilall, CEO of Community Foundations of Canada, joins us to tell us more about the Vital Signs initiative and about CFC’s national Vital Signs report on Belonging that was released earlier this week.
  • A retrospective of the Vital Conversations that happened earlier this year in conjunction with Winnipeg's Vital Signs.
  • And Noah Erenberg will join us in-studio to tell us about what’s new at Community News Commons, Winnipeg’s citizen journalism project.
