In this instalment of River City 360:

  • Have you ever seen a cheese sculpture? This year’s Festival du Voyageur features a competition taking place where 6 teams will carve beautiful sculptures out of the delicious treat. JM Champagne from Bothwell cheese will be here to tell us all about it.
  • A West Broadway staple is using cutting-edge multimedia to help kids grow and gain valuable employment skills in video and music production. Laura Johnson, Program Manager for Just TV at the Broadway Neighbourhood Centre, will tell us all about it.
  • The Winnipeg Music Festival celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. Executive Director Joanne Mercier joins us to share more about the festival and its remarkable history.
  • Nina Edbom-Kehler of the Altona and Area Family Resource Group joins us to talk about the importance of early childhood education when it comes to reading and literacy.
