Young Winnipeg Connect
Are you between the ages of 13 – 35? Have you ever wondered what you could do to help change our city? You’ve come to the right place! We are here to help be a part of the movement of change. Learn how you can make an impact by checking out our story and programs and find out how you can get connected.
In 1999, The Winnipeg Foundation wanted to hear what YOUth had to say about the needs of Winnipeg. We followed the example of other community foundations across Canada and the United States, and started a granting program directed by high school-student committees and Youth in Philanthropy was born.
Since then, we’ve added several programs, each with their own way of helping you connect to your community. Whether you are looking for an internship, or you want to develop and implement a project in an organization, getting involved is only a click away.
Want to know what we are up to next? Join the movement and stay connected to find out about upcoming opportunities to help create a Winnipeg where community life flourishes.
