The Winnipeg Foundation, the Manitoba Bar Association and the Public Trustee of Manitoba are working together to present the second Will Week: Estate Planning for Your Future event.

 

From April 23 to 27, professionals in the area of wills and estates will be making free estate planning information presentations at various locations throughout Winnipeg and some rural communities. The sessions will cover the importance of having a valid, updated will, enduring power of attorney and a health care directive. Presenters will also cover how to ensure last wishes are achievable and how to make charitable gift in a will.

 

This year’s Will Week schedule includes a session in French at le centre culturel franco-manitobain. Returning to the program this year is a specialty will session, focused on addressing “Dependents with Disabilities.”
