"Connecting" - 2007 Annual Report
Next week, The Winnipeg Foundation reflects on the past 12 months with the release of its 2007 annual report, "Connecting." This past year, the Foundations has forged and strengthened connections with organizations, community leaders, government agencies and people from all walks of life.
The Foundation is proud to profile some of the local organizations that are working together on innovative community projects that have received support from the Foundation in the last year.
The Foundation is able to make grants to these organizations, and respond to the needs of our community, thanks to the generosity and foresight of our donors. Their inspiring stories show how passion and commitment can have a lasting impact.
Gifts to the Foundation are pooled and invested and the income earned is distributed to local charitable organizations. The Foundation is committed to the stewardship of this legacy and being open and transparent.
