Will Week April 21- 25, 2008
Perform a not-so-random act of kindness. Make sure your wishes for the future of your family and your community are met.
For a third year, The Winnipeg Foundation, the Manitoba Bar Association and the Public Trustee of Manitoba present Will Week, this year from April 21 to 25.
Professionals in the area of wills and estates will discuss the importance of having a valid, updated will, an enduring power of attorney and a health care directive. Presenters also cover how to ensure your last wishes are fulfilled and how you can make a charitable gift in your will. The sessions are free and will be presented at locations throughout Winnipeg and some rural communities.
This year’s Will Week schedule offers more sessions than previous years, including a session in French at Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface and a special session, focused on addressing “Dependents with Disabilities.” A complete schedule of the session dates, times and locations is available at winnipegwill.com.
Sessions are free but seating is limited. Participants are encouraged to register in advance by calling 948.3394.
