We also have expertise in supporting innovative responses and targeting charitable dollars for the greatest impact on our city - which is served by more than 3,400 charitable agencies.

Our staff works closely with the agencies that serve our community and can offer insight into the needs of both agencies and the community.

The Foundation provides:

• Research and information on charitable organizations;
• Expedited grant recommendation and fulfillment process;
• Tours and site visits to experience first hand the work of charitable organizations;
• Due diligence on all grant recipients to ensure they are Canadian registered charities and use your contribution as intended.

Our online system allows donors who have established funds at The Winnipeg Foundation to conveniently access secure information about their fund and print off reports at any time.

Throughout the year, we offer learning opportunities and host events to keep you informed on Foundation and community activities.
