The Literacy for Life Fund supports family literacy programs in community centres and libraries across Manitoba. In addition to fostering language and reading skills, these programs help build more confident parents, stronger families, and healthier communities.
The Literacy for Life Fund makes grants of up to $4,000 to support family literacy programs that engage parents/caregivers and children of all ages. These grants help bring books, storytelling, healthy play and quality time to thousands of Manitobans every year.

On The Same Page
On The Same Page is an annual mass-reading campaign of The Winnipeg Foundation and Winnipeg Public Library to get Manitobans reading, and talking about, the same book at the same time. The program includes book giveaways, special events and promotions designed to encourage participation, inspire discussion, highlight Manitoba authors and build community.
In keeping with the spirit of the Foundation’s Literacy for Life Fund, On The Same Page encourages intergenerational, life-long literacy.
