Will Week is an annual initiative hosted by The Winnipeg Foundation in partnership with the Manitoba Bar Association and the Office of the Public Trustee. Members of the Manitoba Bar generously donate their time and expertise to present estate planning information sessions.
Free estate planning sessions are led by professionals working in Wills and estate-planning and include information on:
- Why you need a valid, updated Will, an enduring Power of Attorney and a Health Care Directive;
- How to ensure your last wishes are achievable; and
- How to support the community with a charitable gift in your Will.
The program is a public service and seminars are for information purposes only.
Will Week has concluded for 2008 but occurs annually during the last full week in April. Check back for details on Will Week 2009.
Several communities across Manitoba will hold Will Week sessions. To find out if a session will be held near you, please contact your local community foundation. To find the community foundation in your area,
