Bob and Betty Brooke’s fund at The Winnipeg Foundation is ensuring their values will continue to influence their family – and community – Forever.

As they neared the end of their lives, the Brookes established The Brooke Family Fund, a Field of Interest Fund focusing on youth and education. They further supported the fund through bequests, and members of their family continue to make gifts to the fund as a way to remember Mr. and Mrs. Brooke and to give back to their community.

“We’re really proud of what [my parents] created, in knowing that we’re part of that,” says Glenda Dean, the Brookes’ daughter.

Some of the projects the Brooke Family Fund has supported include Friends of Sherbrook Pool’s Kidswim program, Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Big Buddy program, and Niigaanaki Day Care’s nature playground.
