In this instalment of River City 360:

  • Art City celebrates its 20th anniversary this weekend with their event, Mega Flora. Artistic Director Eddie Ayoub joins us to talk about how the West End’s response to art has evolved over the years, as well as about the huge party taking place this Saturday.
  • Hundreds of our city's youth got together in celebration of The Winnipeg Foundation's Youth in Philanthropy program. RC360's own Sonny Primolo and Carolina Stetcher attended the celebration to speak with some of the YiPpers and grant recipients about the program and the celebration.
  • The Westland Foundation recently held its 12th Annual Breakfast in support of the Westland Foundation Education Fund. Keynote speaker Gregg Hanson joins us to talk about education as it pertains to youth and to true reconciliation in our city.
  • Laura Kempthorne, General Manager of the Brandon Area Community Foundation, joins us to talk about their Foundation and some exciting projects they’ve supported.
  • And we’ll also learn about Winnipeg’s first cohousing project, Prairie Rivers Cohousing, and find out more about its plans for a friendly neighbourhood designed with community first in mind.
