In this instalment of River City 360:

  • Susan Hagemeister, Director of Finance at The Winnipeg Foundation, joins us to talk about the importance of the Manitoba Heritage Trust Program and the long-term benefit it will provide for museums and archives in our province.
  • Peter Cantalon, Executive Director of the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre, joins us to talk about their incredible facility in Morden, Manitoba, their upcoming programming, and their connection to the Manitoba Heritage Trust Program.
  • Darryl Hollyk, Chairman of the Minnedosa District Museum and Heritage Village Corp., discusses the importance of preserving our history as Manitobans and the value of maintaining Museums and heritage buildings here in Manitoba.
  • And last but not least, hundreds of our city's youth got together in celebration of The Winnipeg Foundation's Youth in Philanthropy program. Carolina Stetcher attended the celebration last week and spoke with Leslie Spillett from Ka Ni Kanichihk, a YiP grant recipient, about the program and the celebration.
