In this instalment of River City 360:

  • Shannon Tara Kraichy, Coordinator for the Butterfly Club at Ka Ni Kanichihk, joins us to talk about projects led by Indigenous girls and two-spirit youth to bridge gaps and promote reconciliation.
  • Then, we'll speak with Geoff Ripat, Spark Program Manager with the Canadian Community Economic Development Network, to learn about Spark and how it builds connections between organizations and volunteers for projects requiring professional skills.
  • We'll also speak with Frank Ulrich, Executive Director of Union Gospel Mission, to find out more about how the organization is helping Manitobans struggling with poverty and addictions.
  • And Rob Tétrault, Founder of Le Classique, will join us to talk about the three-on-three ball hockey tournament in support of Congenital CMV happening this weekend.
