In this instalment of River City 360:

  • Manitoba women received the right to vote 100 years ago this Thursday. In honour of the centennial, hosts Nolan and Robert take a tour of the Manitoba Museum's "Nice Women Don't Want the Vote" exhibit with Roland Sawatzky, Curator of History, and discuss school programs and the reaction from young people with Anya Moodie-Foster, Museum Program Developer.
  • Robert also sits down with Lila Goodspeed, Board Chair of the Nellie McClung Foundation Foundation, to talk about Nellie McClung - one of the leaders of the women's suffrage movement in Manitoba - and how the Foundation continues to honour her legacy and achievements.
  • And Noah Erenberg, Convener of Community News Commons, joins hosts Nolan Bicknell and Robert Zirk to discuss the latest stories written by citizen journalists on CNC. "Godsend" by Finn is the featured local song of the week.
