Rick Frost has served as CEO of The Winnipeg Foundation since 1997. During this time, he has steered The Foundation through unprecedented growth and change. Rick will retire on April 26, 2021 – The Foundation’s 100th anniversary.
If you would like pay tribute to Rick and his impact in our community, you can participate in one or both these opportunities!
1. Leave a message in our commemorative online book.
Please contribute a brief memory, a longer story, greetings or a photo. The book will be printed at a later date as a keepsake of Rick’s time at The Foundation.
2. Make a gift to the Richard L. Frost Scholarship on the History of Philanthropy.
This award celebrates two of Rick’s passions: history and the charitable sector. This graduate-level award supports a History student conducting research on how the wellbeing of local communities or Canadian society in general has been advanced by generous individuals, specific charitable agencies or social movements within the broadly defined voluntary sector.
