Cathy Auld

Cathy joined The Foundation in 1990, after several community development roles, and as a program manager at the Winnipeg Core Area Initiative, focused on community revitalization. She holds a Master of City Planning, University of Manitoba and a Bachelor of Arts, University of Winnipeg. Cathy engages with the CEO on special leadership initiatives and serves as a visible ambassador for The Foundation’s mission and values. She is a member of the Senior Management Team. Cathy has an earned reputation in cultivating lasting relationships with donors across generations, enabling inspired philanthropy for community benefit. Cathy belongs to the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Canadian Association of Gift Planners. Cathy enjoys art, writing and theatre and is Past Chair of the J.W. Dafoe Foundation. She received the Senate of Canada’s 150 medal for her dedicated leadership in philanthropy.
