Stacy Cardigan Smith believes community philanthropy brings lasting, positive change and that community foundations play a vital role in supporting that work. In her role as Capacity Building Consultant with Endow Manitoba, she utilizes a servant leadership approach to advance the sustainability and growth of Manitoba’s community foundation network. Previously, she spent nearly a decade guiding The Winnipeg Foundation’s communications and marketing activities, and worked as a journalist, including with CBC Manitoba’s investigative journalism unit. She has a master’s degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership from Carleton University, a BA in Communications from University of Winnipeg, and a diploma in Creative Communications (Journalism major) from Red River College. Along with her husband and two young children, Stacy aspires to live a happy, healthy life. A proud West End resident, she serves as inaugural chair of the South Valour Residents Association and is a member of the Isaac Brock School Parent Council.
