CommunityJoanna Turner, Artist and Community Grants Associate at The Winnipeg Foundation, collaborated with CBC for a series featuring nine inspirational Manitoban women, profiled and highlighted for International Women’s Day.
“There’s so many amazing women in this series and across our community, and I think there’s a lot of potential there to really support one another, and work together to create an even better community than we have right now,” said Turner.
International Women’s Day is a global holiday that takes place annually on March 8 celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
