Next 100 Speakers Series

About the Series

The Next 100 Speakers Series brings together local leaders for conversations about our city’s next 100 years and the potential role philanthropy might play in achieving those visions.

Sky Bridges, The Winnipeg Foundation CEO, will be facilitating these discussions. We look forward to honest conversations with panelists where we can share and learn together.

Backgrounder

As part of The Winnipeg Foundation’s centennial activities, we invited community members representing various sectors and Cause areas to share their visions for Winnipeg’s next 100 years, and the potential role philanthropy might play in achieving them.

Their aspirational essays were published in a special centennial edition of The Foundation’s magazine, Building a vision for our next 100 years. To read the essays online, visit Our next 100.

The essayists all shared unique perspectives on the future of Winnipeg, but key themes emerged such as building an equitable community, the future of philanthropy, human rights, youth leading change, and more.
