1943

A three-year grant is issued to the University of Manitoba to develop the School of Social Work.

1945

Canadian Girl Guides received a $1,000 grant to develop their program in Manitoba.

1946

After the Margaret Scott Nursing Mission winds down operations, much of the remaining funds come to The Foundation as the Margaret Scott Nursing Mission Fund. This is The Foundation’s first Scholarship Fund, which benefits nursing students at University of Manitoba.
