Logo Usage
Our logo may be used for the following:

✓ In annual reports
✓ In event materials
✓ In presentations
✓ In grant recognition materials
✓ In sponsorship acknowledgements
✓ In social media graphics
Please do not:
✕ Stretch, distort, or rotate the logo
✕ Change logo colours
✕ Rearrange logo elements
✕ Add effects, outlines, or shadows
✕ Place the logo on busy or low-contrast backgrounds
✕ Create new versions of the logo
✕ Add taglines directly to the logo
These standards help maintain a consistent and recognizable brand.
Choosing the Right Logo
The primary horizontal logo should be used whenever space allows. This is the preferred version for most applications:
Logo Safe Area
In layouts give the logo adequate spacing to create an open and spacious feeling. Allow space around the logo equal to the height of the first segment of the icon.
Colour Versions
Always ensure strong contrast between the logo and background.
Use the Reverse (White) Logo when placed on:
- Winnipeg Foundation blue backgrounds
- Dark photography
- Dark-coloured backgrounds
Use the Colour Logo when placed on:
- White backgrounds
- Light-coloured backgrounds
- Documents and reports
Recognition Guidelines
If Winnipeg Foundation has provided funding or sponsorship support, we encourage acknowledgement using language such as:
Supported by Winnipeg Foundation
or
Funding provided by Winnipeg Foundation
For major projects or initiatives, please connect with your Foundation contact regarding recognition opportunities.
