Children and Youth Program Grants
Winnipeg Foundation Children and Youth Program Grants support organizations and programs serving youth facing systemic barriers with awards of up to $25,000.
Application details
- Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) registered charities.
- Qualified CRA donees (contact us in this case).
- Youth-serving organizations and programs established for more than a year.
- Organizations that haven’t received a Children and Youth grant this year.
- Past grantees with an approved final report.
- Organizations following the Manitoba Human Rights Code that do not discriminate based on protected characteristics.
- Your project should mainly benefit the people of Winnipeg. Projects outside the city must show a clear benefit to Winnipeggers.
- Collaborative applications are not eligible.
This grant does not support:
- Current Winnipeg Foundation Multi-Year Grant recipients.
- Current recipients of a Community Grant or Major Capital Grant requesting the same costs.
- Organizations piloting new programs for children and youth.
- National organizations without established programming in Winnipeg.
- Organizations focused on distributing grants, scholarships, or awards.
- Schools and family programs serving both adults and children or youth.
- Organizations focused solely on religious worship, instruction, or proselytization.
- Programs that promote skill-building
- Inclusive recreational or cultural programs
- Transportation and fee support
- Creation of safe and welcoming spaces
