Volunteer Opportunity: Join Winnipeg Foundation’s Community Grants Advisory Committee

Winnipeg Foundation is seeking volunteer members to join its Community Grants Advisory Committee, a two-year pilot that will help shape community impact through informed and equitable grantmaking.

As Canada’s first community foundation, Winnipeg Foundation inspires generosity and supports the well-being of our community, now and for generations to come. Known as Winnipeg’s Forever Fund, the Foundation connects people who care with causes that matter, creating lasting impact through grantmaking, community leadership, and philanthropic partnerships. Committee members play an important role by bringing community knowledge, lived experience, and diverse perspectives to funding decisions that strengthen our community today and into the future.

Winnipeg Foundation’s work is guided by five core values: trust, generosity, equity, transformation, and responsiveness. We strive to act with transparency and integrity, approach others with empathy and possibility, help remove barriers so everyone can thrive, foster collaboration and innovation, and remain responsive to the changing needs and priorities of our community, now and for future generations.
