CommunityRick Frost has been CEO of The Winnipeg Foundation since 1997. Canada’s first community foundation will celebrate its centennial in 2021.
Last year The Winnipeg Foundation distributed more than $57.5 million to the community. Now, dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic means Rick’s team is responding to community need in an unprecedented fashion, while practicing social distancing and working primarily from home.
I sat down with Rick Frost over video chat, to talk about COVID-19 and The Foundation’s response, how the world is changing and will continue to change, and what plans and strategies are in place for The Winnipeg Foundation moving forward.
